The Many Dogs of Dody Crowell is a final project I took on for an illustration class at the University of Illinois. It's a series of illustrations compiled into a picture book, dedicated to my grandmother and the many dogs she rescued and cared for throughout her life.
It was a really cool experience to push my illustration skills and work on developing my own style, as well as getting to explore my family history and dig up stories and pictures of these pets. I completed it over the course of the fall semester, and was able to get the final book to print and gift it to my dad, aunts, and uncles for Christmas.
